The story behind Brain and Spine Rehab
Heavy shaking, slumping and the inability to speak.
That was the direct result of the brainstem migraines and physical discomforts my mother had to deal with after a series of accidents.
This sometimes happened three to four times a week. Nobody knew what was going on.
When thinking back, this is where my quest for better solutions to the effects of brain and physical trauma began. I was still a teenager back then.
After a professional detour where I immersed myself in developmental problems of children's brain, thanks to my best friend and partner Linda Radestad, who survived a severe stroke at a young age (see her TEDx talk), I am now back to where it started: Finding new and better solutions for the treatment of the impacts of concussions and strokes/cerebral hemorrhages. You can safely say that finding better solutions for people with brain injuries is a passion for the both of us.
